Kerry financial services company Fexco now owns 100% of the tourism information and reservation provider Gulliver Ireland.
It has bought the 26% stake in did not already own from All Ireland Tourism Holdings, which is owned by Failte Ireland and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
The Gulliver system is linked to more than 9,000 properties - 60% of approved accommodation - on the island of Ireland. Its booking engine powers more than 60 websites.
Gulliver has also reported strong growth in the six months to June, with 410,000 bed nights sold, an increase of 10% on the same period last year. Internet bookings almost doubled. These now account for 50% of total bookings, up from 35% last year.
