Greenstar wins new deals worth €10m

Waste management company Greenstar has announced several new contracts with some of Ireland's top companies to provide them with waste management services. The new contracts are worth over €10m over the next three years.

Greenstar's new customers include Intel, RTE, Unilever, The Port of Cork and Bowen Construction.

News of the new contracts follow a period of growth by acquisition during which Greenstar bought seven companies.

The company said its focus has now moved to consolidating its market position and to double revenue by the end of 2007 to about €150m. This follows a number of external appointments, including Steve Cowman as Chief Executive and Jerry Dempsey as Sales and Marketing Director last year.
