Strike action has been averted at Braun in Carlow where up to 400 employees, members of SIPTU, voted this afternoon to accept a revised pay offer.
There were fears in the town, where Braun is one of the largest employers, that any further industrial action would put all jobs at risk.
Today's acceptance by the workers brings to an end a dispute which has been ongoing for the past number of years.
