ComReg has upheld complaints that eircom sales representatives were found to have made inaccurate and misleading statements while trying to win back customers who had switched their telephone service to a competitor.
The communications regulator has upheld several complaints that eircom field sales staff deliberately misled IFA Telecom customers in an attempt to win back their business.
IFA's Pat Smith said today that IFA Telecom was continuing to pursue a number of other serious complaints about Eircom's winback tactics and he expected further findings from ComReg.
