Three young Irish companies have won backing of nearly €4m in venture funding to help their growth - these are H2Hcare, Cibenix and Neurocare.
Funding of €2m goes to H2Hcare, which provides web-based software for appointment scheduling, electronic patient records, in-patient management and secure electronic connectivity in the healthcare sector, provided by Bank of Ireland Venture Capital, Enterprise 2000 and Enterprise Ireland.
Pharmaceutical firm Neurocare is getting €850,000 in investment from Delta Partners to fund its plans to find new uses for old drugs in the areas of neurological diseases.
Mobile phone software firm Cibenix has raised more than €1m in first-round funding.
