Ryanair is adding extra services to London from Dublin and Kerry as part of its new summer schedule.
From April 29, the airline says it will increase its five daily scheduled flights from Dublin to London Gatwick to six daily flights. Ryanair will also add increased frequency with a second daily flight on its London Stansted-Kerry route.
Ryanair also said today that it will start new daily services from London to Brindisi in Italy and from Frankfurt Hahn to Jerez in Spain. It will also increase frequency on its London Stansted routes to Jerez, Carcassonne, Nimes and Pisa.
But the London Stansted-Groningen route will be axed from April 28.
* In the wake of the announcement that unions at Aer Rianta, along with their colleagues in CIE, will stop work for six hours on March 18, Ryanair has called on Aer Rianta to implement its contingency plan to keep Dublin airport open.
Ryanair says it is unacceptable that for the third time in three months, unions are planning to disrupt the travel plans of 50,000 passengers at Dublin airport. They point out that there is no jobs at risk at the Dublin airport.
In a statement, the airline also called on the Transport Minister to immediately dismiss the board of Aer Rianta is they fail to implement their own contingency plan which is in place to keep Dublin airport open during times of industrial action.
