Norish has released its preliminary annual results. The firm, which provides temperature controlled, ambient and commodity warehousing, had a pre-tax loss of £0.4 million, compared to a loss of £2.5 million in 2002.
The company said that its temperature controlled division has performed "reasonably well," increasing turnover by 1%. However, turnover in its Ambient and Commodity levels had reduced by 12%.
In its outlook the company said that business conditions would remain "challenging" in 2004.
The company's shares rose 2.5% on Friday on the ISEQ exchange to close at eighty cent.
