Conroy Diamond and Gold have appointed SRK Consulting (UK) to prepare a preliminary mineral resources estimate for the company's gold properties in Ireland.
This will form an integral part of an exploration status report on Conroy's licence area in the Longford-Down Massif.
The resource estimate will place particular emphasis on the Tullybuck-Lisglassn gold deposit in Co Monaghan. This was the company's first discovery in the area.
So far, Conroy has identified five separate areas of gold mineralisation, all of which are located within a small section of its licence area extending from Tullybuck-Lisglassan.
SRK's report will also incorporate a regional geological review of Conroy's wider exploration effort in the Massif, a continuous block of ground extending southwest from Co Armagh to beyond Slieve Glah in Co Cavan.
