The board of luxury goods group Waterford Wedgwood says existing shareholders have taken up shares representing just over 88% of those offered under a rights issue.
The company's directors, including Sir Anthony O'Reilly and Peter Goulandris, subscribed for their full entitlements.
Davy Stockbrokers has secured subscribers for all of the remaining 12% at a price of 21 cent per share.
