Kerry has bought three of the UK manufacturing plants from the receiver of troubled Hibernia Foods for price of believed to be between £10-15m
NCB stockbrokers says the plants are in Birmingham, Bristol and Hartlepool, employing 450 people with sales of £30m.
The factories make frozen deserts and ready mills.
