Petroceltic sells off Kazakh interest

Exploration company Petroceltic, formerly known as Ennex, has agreed to sell its remaining interest in the Shaimerden zinc deposit in Kazakhstan for $2.25m.

The interest is being sold to central Asia's largest zinc producing company JSC Kazzinc.

Petroceltic says the proceeds will be used to accelerate drilling activity off Ireland and in North Africa.
