Exploration company Conroy Diamonds & Gold says it has identified what it calls an exciting new gold prospect in the Armagh-Monaghan area.
The Ballygreany prospect lies to the east of the company's original discovery at Tullybuck-Lisglassan in County Monaghan. Conroy says Ballygreany's gold values are the highest it has encountered.
This is the fifth gold discovery or prospect identified by Conroy within a 6.5km section of the 20km long Armagh-Monaghan gold belt.
