EBS Building Society has signed a €90,000 deal with Airtricity for the supply of electricity to 26 of its branches around the country.
By switching to renewable energy the company says it will save approximately 600 tonnes of CO2 being emitted each year, the equivalent of removing 143 cars from the roads.
