Anglo-French Channel Tunnel operator Eurotunnel has reported a narrower loss for the first half of the year but said it was unlikely full-year revenues would cover interest charges.
Eurotunnel said in a statement that it lost €22m in the first half of 2003 compared with a loss of €138m in the year-ago first half.
Its underlying loss was €111m, almost the same as a year earlier, on turnover of €393m, compared with €441m in H1 last year.
