Bank of Ireland is to shut the online arm of its offshore Isle of Man operation, Fsharp and cut 30 jobs.
A spokesperson for Bank of Ireland said low uptake among its customers was the reason for the closure, and that customers will still have the use of telephone and postal banking.
Fsharp, which was set up in September 1999, provides offshore banking operations for cash-rich British and Irish ex-pats.
Those who lost their jobs may be relocated to the UK.
