Airtricity said its equity fundraising has raised €28m which will be used to build its wind farm sites in Ireland and Scotland, including the Arklow bank wind project. The fundraising was 1.6 times oversubscribed.
The funds were raised from majority shareholder NTR, which invested €14.3m and maintained its 51% shareholding, Airtricity staff and management who invested €1.1m and NCB Stockbrokers' Private Clients who invested €12.6m.
Airtricity is now valued at €128m.
