Halfords eyeing Irish move - FT

Another British retailer could be looking to move into the Irish market, according to a report in the Financial Times.

The paper says a new management team at Halfords, which sells car and bike accessories, is looking at setting up stores in Ireland as part of a revamp following the company's £400m buy-out from Boots last year.

Halfords has around 400 stores in the UK.
