Scottish based gas exploration group Ramco, the operator of the Seven Heads gas development in the Celtic Sea, said the drilling and testing of the field's second well has been successfully completed.
Well 48/27-7A is part of a six well programme. Ramco says that the Seven Heads field remains on schedule for first gas production during the fourth quarter of the year. It has agreed to sell its share of the field's gas production to Innogy Ireland.
The Seven Heads partners are Ramco (86.5%), Island Petroleum Developments (12.5%) and Sunningdale Oils (1%).
