Carlow-based company Oglesby & Butler, which manufactures power tools, is to lay off up to 30 people over the coming months following a review of its operations and costs.
The company said it had taken the step in anticipation of a slowdown in the main markets for its products, and to limit the effect of currency fluctuations.
