Dragon's Turkmenistan field going well

Independent oil and gas company Dragon Oil increased its daily oil production from 6,000 barrels a day to 15,000 after the company drilled four new wells in Turkmenistan last year.

In a meeting with the Turkmenistan president, Dragon's Chairman and CEO Hussain Sultan said that as part of the company's plans to further development the field, it will shortly sign a contract for a jack oil rig to be used for drilling offshore.

During the meeting, the Turkmenistan President expressed his country's willingness to assist Dragon in fast-tracking its operations there.
