John Moloney, group managing director of Glanbia, said at the company's AGM today that he believes - based on current conditions - that full year performance will be in line with expectations.
He said trading conditions continue to be particularly tough in international dairy markets where a strengthening euro has offset the benefits of some recovery in prices.
He forecast that currency fluctuations will be an important factor going forward for the company.
