British DIY chain B&Q is to open its second store in the Republic in Tallaght in Dublin, creating 100 new jobs.
The new 6,000 square metre store, due to open in October, will be located at Belgard Road. B&Q's first store at Liffey Valley opened just over a year ago and employs 225 people.
B&Q says it plans create another 1,000 jobs here in the next four years as it continues to expand.
The company says the performance of the Liffey Valley store has surpassed all expectations, and indicated strong demand in the Irish market for its products.
