Glen Dimplex has acquired electric shower manufacturer Galaxy Showers in the UK.
Galaxy, which is located in Birmingham, reported a turnover of £5m sterling.
'Entry into the UK and Irish electric showers market has been a key strategic objective for the group,' said Glen Dimplex Chief Executive Sean O'Driscoll.
Glen Dimplex, which is headquartered in Ireland, makes electrical products for domestic and commercial use in Europe and North America. Its manufacturing operations here are located in Dunleer Co Louth, Tralee Co Kerry, Newry and Bangor in Co Down and Portadown, Co Armagh.
