Dairygold said today that its new chief executive is to be Jerry Henchy, who is joining the co-op from the Kerry Group. He will succeed Denis Lucey when he retires from the company. Mr Henchy is currently responsible for Kerry's manufacturing base in South America and also for market development there.
Prior to this he had similar responsibilities with Kerry de Mexico.
Jerry is of farming background and is a native of Ballincollig, Co Cork. He graduated with an honours degree in Dairy Science from UCC in 1989.
