Hotel power contract for Energia

Dublin hotel the Four Seasons has granted its electricity supply rights to Energia, which is owned by Northern Ireland power company Viridian.

The five star hotel has annual energy requirements of over 1.8 megawatts. Since February this year, businesses which use over one gigawatt per hour have been entitled to choose their main energy provider as the market has been deregulated.

Energia is due to open its Huntstown generating station in Dublin before the end of the year.
