Galway city is to get a new daily air link with London from September. Aer Aran Express will operate a 50-seat ART turboprop aircraft on the Luton-Galway route.
The company's managing director, Padraig O Ceidigh, says he believes the service will be a 'huge benefit' to business, industry and tourism in the Galway region.
The service will be increased to two flights a day next summer. Fares on the route will start at €143.
