Hotels group Jurys Doyle is to develop three new Jurys Inns in the UK, involving a total investment of just under €90m.
The three new Inns are in Glasgow, Leeds and Chelsea in London. Together with the Jurys Inn Newcastle - expected to open in Spring 2003 - they will add almost 1,000 to the group's total bedroom count.
Jurys Doyle says the new hotels will be financed through a combination of internal resources and debt.
Chief executive Pat McCann said there was 'excellent scope' for the group to increase capacity throughout the UK in major cities.
He added that Jurys Inn Croydon had opened in February and was trading very well.
