Celtic Waste to invest $42 million in Cork

Celtic Waste, a subsidiary of National Toll Roads, announced today that it will invest €42 million in private waste management facilities in Cork over the next two years, to take the commercial and industrial waste currently being rejected by the local authorities.

The company will develop material recycling centres at Sarsfield Court and Forge Hill in the city and a residual landfill site in the county.

Celtic Waste says its investment will create more than 80 jobs over the next two years.
