The £35m, 163-bedroom Westin Dublin Hotel, situated opposite Trinity College, will open on 1 September.
The Dublin Westin is Starwood Hotels and Resorts first venture into Ireland. The leisure chain has more than 725 properties in 80 countries and employs 120,000 employees.
The Minister for Tourism, Jim McDaid said: 'The arrival of such a prestigious brand must have a major impact on international perceptions of Ireland as a first-class destination.'
