22 Irish food processing companies - North and South - will join forces in a marketing programme in the US. The programme, organised jointly by Bord Bia and Trade International, is to help boost sales in the US, the world's biggest food market.
The companies will take part in marketing workshops at St Joseph's University, Philadelphia and will visit food service and retail operations from June 4 to 8. The programme, in its second year, is designed to help companies keep up to date with trends in the US food industry.
Companies taking part include Barry's Tea, Cuisine de France, Dairygold , Golden Vale, Lir Chocolates, Kylemore Bakery and Dawn Farm Foods.
