Bank of Ireland appoints new directors

Bank of Ireland has appointed two new members to its board of directors.

Dublin-born Caroline Marland, a former managing director of Guardian Newspapers and a member of the UK's Institute of Directors board, has been appointed from today.

The bank has also appointed the president and CEO of US life insurance company Mutual of America Thomas Moran, who is also a member of the Taoiseach's Economic Advisory Board.
