Accenture world revenues grow by 10%

Consulting group Accenture, formerly Andersen Consulting, has reported a 10% increase in revenues for last year to $10.3bn. Excluding the effect of currency translations, the increase was 14%.

The firm's Asia Pacific region showed the largest rise, with 21% growth. Revenues in the Americas grew 11%, while the firm's Europe/Middle East/Africa/India region rose by 6%, though this was 19% when adjusted for currency movements.

Accenture employs over 700 people in Ireland.
