Industrial production was up 14.6% in volume in October 2000 when compared with the same period in 1999, according to figures from the Central Statistics Office today.
For September the increase was 12.2% and the August increase was 18.1%.
The seasonally adjusted data indicated that production for the three months ending October 2000 was 2.7% above that for the three months ended July 2000.
