Rawlplug, which makes wall-fixings used by building professionals and DIY enthusiasts, was today snapped up by plaster and plasterboard supplier BPB.
The £27m transaction covers Rawlplug's businesses in Glasgow, along with its distribution business in Ireland, Polycell Rawlplug
In the year to December, Rawlplug achieved sales of more than £31m.
