Anglo Irish Bank has launched its own assurance company Anglo Irish Assurance, having received a licence to operate it from the Department of Enterprise, Trade & Employment.
Anglo says its new subsidiary will provide a range of personal, corporate and retirement investment services.
It also plans an interactive web site, operational from mid-March, to enable customers to track the progress of their investments.
