IFG Group has announced the acquisition of Goldstone Financial Services Ltd for a consideration of over 2 million euro.
Goldstone is an independent financial advisor based in Manchester and whose principal activity is life, pensions and investment business. It has been trading for over 20 years and pre-tax profits for the year ending July 2000 were 179,511 euro.
Following the purchase, Goldstone will be integrated with Santhouse Whittington Actuarial Services Ltd, also in Manchester. The deal should afford greater opportunity to develop further business in the Greater Manchester Area for both IFG's actuarial services and the life and pension operations.
