Branson 'Baffled' As Camelot Keeps British Lottery Licenc

Camelot has won the next seven year licence to run Britain's National Lottery.

The National Lottery commissioners voted by four to one to give the current licence holder the new franchise, effectively reversing a previous decision to exclude the company from the new licence process.

Today's decision to reject a bid by Richard Branson's People's Lottery led to the resignation of one commissioner, while Branson himself said he was 'disappointed, sad and baffled'.
