Grafton Group has acquired the trade and assets of builders merchant Lowdens, a subsidiary of Readymix which trades from three locations in Northern Ireland.
The deal excludes the Huttons tile business. Grafton says Lowdens' branches are a good fit with its five existing Macnaughton Blair Builders' Centres in the North.
