Belleek Pottery has acquired Ballyshannon-based Donegal Parian China, which has a turnover of £2m and employs 65 people. No details of the consideration were given.
Belleek says there will be no job losses as a result of the acquisition, and managing director John Maguire says it will be investing in the development of the Donegal brand.
The deal brings Belleek's turnover to just under £30m sterling with 800 employees across four companies.
