Shares in British port operator Mersey Docks plunged in London this morning after the company said settling a dispute at one of its Dublin terminals would cost it £3m.
Mersey's plans to re-organise its South Bank Quay container terminal led to industrial action which closed the terminal on September 15.
Workers voted earlier this week to accept Mersey's proposals, which included severance payments. The company expects the terminal to re-open early next month.
