AIB has announced final details of the merger of its Polish sudsidiaries Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy and Bank Zachodni, which will create Poland's fifth largest bank.
Under the deal, BZ will acquire WBK's property, while in return WBK shareholders will receive BZ shares.
Shareholders in both banks must approve the agreement at shareholders' meetings on December 20. AIB will hold a 70.5% stake in the merged entity.
