Tune into High Road Low Road tonight on RTÉ One at 7pm.

High Road, Low Road has returned to RTÉ One with a brand-new series packed with more celebrities, stunning destinations, exciting activities, and the ultimate luxury vs. budget showdown.

Each week, the show follows a selection of the country's top presenters, musicians, actors, singers, chefs and influencers as they visit a variety of dream destinations - on two very different budgets.

Across nine episodes, our celebrity twosomes set off on two very different holidays. While one enjoys a first-class luxury experience, the other explores the area on a tight budget.

On tonight's episode, TV presenters Dáithí O'Sé and Glenda Gilson take to the water in two very different boats in the Alentejo region in Portugal.

Speaking to RTÉ Lifestyle, Glenda explained that, as a busy mother of two young boys, any solo trip is an absolute luxury.

"There was a lot of work to be done, but we had great fun! I got to go somewhere where the weather was warm and to be on my own for a few days. Well, when I say on my own, I mean without kids!"

"Dáithí was with me, of course," she adds, laughing. "I've known him a long time, so it was great craic with him. He's such a gent, and he makes me laugh, so it really made it, having Dáithí there."

Although Gilson had never heard of the Alentejo region before her visit, she says that the trip led to some "bucket-list" experiences that will be worth tuning in for.

"It was absolutely amazing," she confirms. "I was told I was doing it the night before. They kind of keep it from you so the surprise is on camera. The next morning, I got there at 5 o'clock in the morning, and I felt the nerves because I could see what I had to get into!"

Having posted some sneak peek photos of her trip to Instagram, the former model was inundated with questions in relation to her wardrobe.

Speaking with RTÉ Lifestyle, she confirmed that her striped summer dress came from American Vintage: "I had a lot of American Vintage on me for that trip because they do these lovely bright colours," she explains. "When you're on TV, you have to wear the bright colours."

Her eye-catching, multi-coloured bomber jacket is from an Irish woman called Zoë Jordan, daughter of the late Irish motorsport entrepreneur Eddie Jordan, who is sadly no longer designing.
