A Dublin walking tour has been listed as one of the top experiences in the world for 2026 by Tripadvisor's Travellers' Choice Best of the Best Awards.
Every year, the travel publication celebrates travellers' favourite destinations, hotels, restaurants, and things to do around the world, based on reviews and ratings collected over 12 months.
Usually, Tripadvisor's awards fall into two categories: Best of the Best and Travellers’ Choice. This makes the Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best their highest honour.
According to the site, the 2026 winners are a celebration of everything enjoyed by real travellers in the last year, from fine dining in Argentina to luxury hotels in Mexico.
When it comes to experiences, the site found 20 must-do activities from around the globe, including a walking tour around Dublin city.
Coming in at number 15, the Hidden Gems Guided Walking Tour has been recommended by 99% of travellers, garnering over 4,000 five-star reviews.
Taking ticket-holders across the city, the tour promises a guide that will share "a local perspective on historical landmarks and architecture".
Tourists seemed to single out the tour thanks to the "personalised recommendations, humorous anecdotes, and local insights" that they enjoyed along the way.
In the European list, the walking tour made it to the number 10 spot.
