Condé Nast's annual 'Gold List' is the publication's answer to the questions their globe-trotting editors get asked the most: What are your favorite places to stay and ships to sail?
The 30th annual collection reveals a long list of incredible hotels and resorts across four continents, shining a spotlight on the five-star service and exceptional hospitality.
When it comes to Europe and the UK, the publication favoured a variety of getaways ranging from chic city breaks in London and Paris, to fairytale adventures in Switzerland and Budapest.
Ireland made the impressive list thanks to Tipperary's Cashel Palace.
Celebrating the hotel's expansive art collection, outfitted suites, sweeping views, and mouth-watering afternoon tea, writer Gráinne McBride described the luxury venue as an exceptional stay:
"This red-brick Palladian pile sits at the foot of the looming Rock of Cashel, one of Ireland's most famous historic sites, with its Romanesque chapel, roofless cathedral and pencil-shaped round tower. The woodsmoke-scented entrance hall (log fires are lit daily) is bookended by black Kilkenny marble mantelpieces and wall-to-wall art that includes major names of Irish art history—Lavery, Jack B Yeats, Orpen—mostly copies of the owners' private collection, with a few originals hanging strategically out of reach."
