It has been a year since the country – and arguably the rest of the world – fell for Normal People's Connell and Marianne and their love story, but we are still thinking about the Italian villa they stayed in in the blockbuster show.
Last year jetting off to an Italian villa was the stuff of dreams as most of us were completely grounded and struggling with a wanderlust like never before.
This year, however, as restrictions slowly start to ease, more people are thinking about their next holiday – whenever that is – and it turns out that dreamy villa is available for rent on Airbnb.

Il Casale Tenuta di Verzano is described as "an ancient farmhouse" and is nestled in the rolling green hills of Sant'Oreste, Lazio, just outside Rome. According to the listing, it has belonged to the same family for 150 years and includes two farmhouses.
It played a starring role in the eighth episode of the series, when Marianne, her boyfriend Jamie, Connell, and their friends stay there during summer break.
It is available for just €40 per night, but that does not get you the entire house: you will have access to a private apartment within the villa, as well as to the pool and amenities.
The location itself is stunning; featuring a grand stone exterior with a staircase and wooden shutters. The bedrooms are simple but striking, with antiques littered throughout and plenty of bed space between the two bedrooms. The pool is particularly stunning, perfectly positioned to make the most of the scenery. No wonder it got its own dramatic scene in the show.
"The apartment has its own separate entrance in one of the two farmhouses. It combines comfort with the charm of the farmhouse", the listing reads. "The systems are modern while retaining many of the period furnishings. The apartment can accommodate up to 6 people in two spacious bedrooms, dining room, living room, kitchenette and modern bathroom."
The spot also has a near impeccable rating, with dozens of glowing reviews. One guest wrote, "The house and location are beautiful and the family are super friendly... they even bring you coffee in the morning - we also became very friendly with the local cats and dogs!"
Another added, "What makes this place so special is the outside space. There is a lovely space just outside the apartment to eat / drink, and then the pool, which is in one of the most stunning locations I've ever seen, and the grounds of the whole property are beautiful".
