50 Top Pizza, the preeminent guide of the best pizzerias in the world, has ranked Dublin's Little Pyg at number 82 on their list of top 100 pizzerias in the world.

Located in Dublin's Powerscourt Townhouse Centre, the trendy spot first secured its nomination for the awards in 2024 thanks to its placement as #1 in Ireland and #15 in Europe at the 'Pizza Europa' awards earlier that year.

In 2024, the restaurant arrived on the list at #78, an achievement that was followed by numerous accolades, including being named the best pizza in Ireland by 50 Top Pizza for the third year in a row at the Top European Pizza Awards in June of this year.

Now, thanks to "well executed and seasonal classic pizzas" and the feeling of being in a "family pizzeria in a neighborhood of Naples", Little Pyg has once again managed to rank on the impressive list.

Curated by Barbara Guerra, Luciano Pignataro, and Albert Sapere, 50 Top Pizza's global poll celebrates the best slices from around the globe, handing out certificates and awards to those who work to perfect their pizza.

As the publication says: "There are those who make pizza history with their hands, and those who make it with their hearts."

The results of the list were announced yesterday evening at the Teatro Mercadante in Naples, at a food-filled event hosted by Spanish journalist and influencer Verónica Zumalacárregui.

In the end, Una Pizza Napoletana by Anthony Mangieri, in New York, and I Masanielli by Francesco Martucci in Caserta, tied for the top spot.

Second place went to The Pizza Bar on 38th in Tokyo, third went to Leggera Pizza Napoletana in São Paulo, and a tied fourth place went to Confine in Milan and Diego Vitagliano Pizzeria in Naples.
