Published in association with Bord Bia, the annual Murphia List by dining website Hot Dinners is a celebration of Irish talent in London's hospitality industry.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the 2024 list recognises the talent of Irish people working both behind-the-scenes and front of house, whether they be a particularly charming doorman or a soaring CEO.
The largest list yet, this year's publication celebrates 67 names including 16 new entries that range from viral street food sensation Emerald Eats, to Kate O'Sullivan, the head chef at Baudry Greene in Covent Garden.

"We're very close to our Irish roots," says Catherine Hanly, co-founder of Hot Dinners who, along with her brother Gavin, is second generation Irish.
The extensive list, she says, is a way to recognise her family's heritage and celebrate the "massive contribution" that the Irish make to London's food scene.
"There are loads of Irish people working in the restaurant, bar and café scene in London, but this is just the cream of the cream. It's about the people who are making waves in their industry."

As well as focusing on classic Irish fare, and perfectly pulled pints of Guinness, the Murphia list delves into street food, spice bags, Michelin-star dining, and top tier Irish welcomes.
Visiting almost each and every spot herself, Catherine says that compiling the list has been a joy: "The only one I haven't got around to trying yet is Emerald Eats, which is Irish street food that has been such a massive hit in London that I know the queue is going around the street."
Ultimately, she believes that both the list and accompanying event are a great way to connect the Irish diaspora: "If you really want to know what's happening in London with an Irish connection, this is your go-to."
