The Irish Restaurant Awards 2023 took place last night at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin 4, with a host of innovative restaurants and producers scooping awards on the big night.
The All-Ireland final saw almost 1,200 restaurant and hospitality business owners and staff come together to celebrate their hard work and achievements.
Chapter One in Dublin was named the Best Restaurant, both in the capital city and across Ireland, and Dublin's Crudo was named Best Casual Dining restaurant overall.
Cashel Palace Hotel in Co Tipperary scooped the award for Best Hotel & Guesthouse Restaurant for the Bishop's Buttery, while Sligo's Thomas Connelly Bar was named Best Pub in the country.
Now in its 14th year, the awards received a record-breaking number of nominations, according to President of the Restaurants Association of Ireland, Paul Lenehan, with the total reaching over 130,000.
Speaking at the lavish ceremony, Lenehan said: "As an industry, the restaurateurs, pub-owners and entrepreneurs of Ireland, continue to defy the odds. You strive to create jobs, expand upon Ireland's understanding of food standards and world cuisine, all while maintaining exemplary customer service."
