This is FIRE Steakhouse & Bar's second time in a row scooping the coveted prize, and it's clear to see why. The dramatic dining room has recently been refurbished and features high ceilings, stunning curtains and the grand setting of the Mansion House on Dublin's Dawson St.

Sister restaurant SOLE Seafood & Grill nabbed the award for Best Luxury Seafood Restaurant Award in the European category for the third year running, and is also the current top recommended restaurant in Dublin on TripAdvisor. It's already renowned on our shores for its ocean-fresh fish and focus on "shore to soil" fare, executed with extreme style.

The glamorous spot features such culinary delights as fresh oysters pulled from coastal waters, beef that is dry-aged in-house by its chefs, Howth smoked salmon and Irish lobsters.

Both restaurants are lead by Culinary Director, Richie Wilson, who celebrated the wins: "This has been the toughest year we, and our industry as a whole has ever had. The pandemic has no doubt affected us all but, it has brought out something special too. Our teams returned with renewed excitement, hunger to get back to their creative best."

"With so much more now needed from our teams to ensure our guests feel safe and comfortable it is simply amazing to receive such a high honour directly from our customers. It's an enormous pat on the back which I can truthfully say after this year, is massively appreciated. We are once again reminded of how amazing FIRE & SOLE teams are."

As for the top prize overall, Ocean Restaurant located in Porches, Portugal was awarded Global Restaurant of the Year 2021.
