By now, most of us are all well and truly over baking banana bread, we're sick to the teeth of eating the same old dinners, and the excitement of ordering a takeaway at the weekend has faded.
So we were delighted to hear that Taste of Dublin are set to return to the Iveagh Gardens with their family-friendly festival this September 1st - 5th, 2021.
The perfect opportunity to reignite your taste buds, this annual event will run 12 sessions over five days with tickets starting at €20 (excluding booking fee) will go on sale Friday, June 25th.
To ensure that the event can be delivered in a safe environment, additional sessions have been added with a reduced capacity per session. Using the Government's most current guidance, organisers will adapt the event to run in accordance with any restrictions in place.
Roger Duggan, Festival Director for Taste of Dublin said: "We are thrilled to be returning to the Iveagh Gardens this September with Taste of Dublin running over five days. From mid morning to late evenings on Sept 1st to 5th the Iveagh Gardens will be filled with the very best food, drinks and entertainment from every corner of Ireland. We have lots planned and can't wait to share more details with you in early July. So come join us and savour the moment!"
Information on this year's event is still scant, but previous years have played with international themes such as Flavours of the World in 2017 and Food Lover's Playground in 2018, with impressive line ups of celebrity chefs, restaurateurs and influencers such as Kevin Dundon, Roz Purcell, Edward Hayden, Stuart O'Keefe, Darina Allen, Nevin Maguire, and Sharon Hearne-Smith.
As well as taking in mouth watering masterclasses, attendees are usually treated to a world of flavour thanks to Irish food producers selling their fare and discussing their passion for artisanal ingredients.
With so much focus on buying Irish this year, we're excited to see exactly what Taste of Dublin will have on offer.
